A Door is Opening
Tomorrow, 23 February 2012, I find out what country I am leaving to in August of 2012. That country I will live in for 11 months among people whose language I will struggle to learn, whose way of life may bring me to challenge my own, who no matter how different we may be will still just be humans living on the same earth feeling the same things. Oh how I want to go and see and do and just do as...

I thought you loved me to
I just received the worse tea burn to date. Why? no matter how much I love, you still find the need to line your pleasure with pain. Am I just another admirer to you? Do you not care for me at all?

Crows Cackle?
On my way home from school today with the snow lazily drifting down and melting on my newly waxed hair (for today was the first time I tried putting wax in my hair and it turned out quite nice). There was a bird, a crow to be exact, sitting on a branch in front of my house. Oh how it cackled, I swear it did. So loud it was even the mail man across the street looked up with a start. Not just once...

Knifes
The only way I will sharpen my pencils nowadays is with a exact o knife. It brings me peace to crouch over my trash can and shave my pencils. And the shape turns out so lovely. Normal sharpeners did hell to my charcoal pencils.

What the Orange Told
It was Monday, the day weary. No attention was cast to importance instead our minds wondered over the possibilities of life. “Lets go to the Island in the summer” and so it became a plan, a plan for much to far in the future. To cut our waiting by a few hours a trip to the coffee shop seemed the necessary next step. Folding time we are next in the car. Talking, talking about...

Society Killed the Teenager
What does it be mean to exist? To be remembered? To do as much as you can? I don’t know anymore, I thought that if I just enjoyed the day for what it was I would be happy but it doesn’t anyways work that way and being happy does not mean existing. Is it even possible to exist, to feel like you are a person in this world of millions. It doesn’t matter whether you party everyday or...

Rule of Tea 005
Hot water machines can splatter so if you can have the choice to set the cup down and remove your hands while boiling water fills your cup I greatly recommend it. Freshly boiled water hurts.

Painting
Imagine the sun as a painting, we now and we at the beginning of man have looked upon this same painting together with awe. Those who may look upon this art rich will leave poor. The sun has no forgiveness for those wealth becomes them. Sun glasses can hide one only of so well.

New Years
My favorite time. The official time for new beginnings. Don’t forget that everyday is a new beginning. You don’t have to be the same person everyday. Break the mold you’ve made for yourself. confuse people with your sudden changes. Don’t hold yourself back. I believe in you. My favorite time. The time when its okay to kiss strangers. tumblr I promise you that I will kiss a...

Your wonderful Grandma
Belated celebration of Christmas down at Grandmas. The elders drank in the dinning room while those still discovering the world and themselves took claim of the not so living room. Five computers between three young old at hearts and a Ipod for youngest, the room reeked of hipster. Speech was given where it was needed but the music kept conversation. The oldest in the room had and is spending a...

Our Idiot Brother
Best movie I have watched in along time. Not because it was a “funny” movie but because it showed the true nature of people. Ned, the idiot brother, lived his life the way he wanted to and saw the best in people even if it wasn’t always there. Isn’t that how we’re always told to live our life? Love and give people the benefit of the doubt? Well that was precisely what...

Weather
It’s raining in the middle of December, there’s usually at least two feet by this time. The effect the weather has on us is amazing. I’m quite sure the reason this day felt most awkward to many a people was this strange weather.  With the dark drippy weather out I cannot imagine being unhappy on a bright summers day. I do want there to be snow on Christmas though..

Childhood
English class - Mrs. Teacher comes around to every person in the room with five sents. She tells every one to close their eyes when they smell but nobody does. Nobody trusts.  Write down what those sents make you think of, only happy things though. Now, pick on of the sents and write about a happy childhood memory that relates to that sent. Limes The smell of limes. Limes for making pico de...

Dinner Time
For those who have a set dinner time to eat with family will understand me when I say some of the most liberating times in a young high schoolers life is missing that dinner time to go off on your own. Such a small but valued taste of Independence.

Understanding
Staring at the water droplets on the window, staring at knots in the wood. Everything has some sort of pattern or sense to it if you look long enough. That’s why life will never make sense because it is to big of a idea, to big of a thing to stare at as a whole.
