// Your wonderful Grandma//
Belated celebration of Christmas down at Grandmas.
The elders drank in the dinning room while those still discovering the world and themselves took claim of the not so living room. Five computers between three young old at hearts and a Ipod for youngest, the room reeked of hipster. Speech was given where it was needed but the music kept conversation. The oldest in the room had and is spending a multiple of hours just typing, thinking, and staring. One of those minutes inside one of those hours a Aunt and Grandma came into our domain, Grandma to roll her cigarette and Aunt waiting so they might smoke together.
“Hannah what are you doing on your computer thats taking so long?” Asked Aunt while she held her alcoholic drink close to her side.
“I’m writing a reflection of 2011; what I’ve learned, experienced, and some of my best moments. Trying to put my feelings and thoughts down in their honest true form is not coming easy, I’ve only gotten from January to March and already pasted two pages.”
“Why would you bother doing all that work?” Said Aunt as she headed out the door seeing that Grandma was on her way with her cigarette. Grandma followed that up with her own reflection on 2011.
“I can sum up 2011 in two words… Screw It.”
